Kyocera M3655idn - does not send email

    Dear folks,

I had my email (gmail google) configured on a Kyocera M3655idn printer and it was working fine. Suddenly it doesn't scan to email, returning error 1101. I access the email configured on the printer in the browser. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
    Images of the configuration sent.
    Thank you

DO you have 2FA turned on and the APP password in put in the copier. I know Gmail now requires 2FA on devices sending out emails.

2FA is disabled, as shown in the image below.

It was working a short time ago

      Thanks for the feedback

Yes, as above, now requires two factor authentication and an app password.

The easiest way to get to where app passwords are created is to log into your desired Gmail account then:

              paste into browser https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords

Be sure you have 2FA enabled in your Gmail account.

No not a APP on the printer. You have to create a Gmail APP with the link. And it will generate a password for the APP. I named my APP Kyocera. Then you copy that password and input it in the printer in place of the old password you used. Then you can test it on that page and see if it works.

It won't work for me, because I'm not a programmer. I don't know how to create a program (app).

When I need to scan to email, do I have to repeat this every time?

Important: App passwords aren’t recommended and are unnecessary in most cases. To help keep your account secure, use "Sign in with Google" to connect apps to your Google Account. An app password is a

You do not need to program. Use the link i sent then, should be on the APP page. Name the APP and then Gmail will generate the password for you. Copy the password down because you will not see it again. Then log in the printer VIA the web interface and input that password in the printer and test it.

If test is OK then be sure to SUBMIT it at the bottom of the page to save it.

And, NO you will not have to repeat this again.

There is no option to create an app.
                              I give up.
