Kyocera M2540 can't scan or print (don't use print as the last word of the title)

    Re-posted for Thayer:

Customer called said can't scan to folder or print.
Checked all the usual....(Customer IT assisting)
KX driver with IP shows offline.
We can ping the machine ip address
    DNS is correct, and gateway
scan to folder password correct, tried different scan folder.

I connected KFS to update firmware.

We are still researching, and scratching my head...

    Thoughts??? Ideas??

    Thanks

    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

      Check for duplicate Ipaddress.

      Unplug network cable and ping

Can you make sure that someone did not set a filter for IP address on the device?

check if "Enable bidirctional support" and "SNMP Status Enable" are on. if so, turn them off in driver properties.

        Good luck
