Very intermittent c5101 error on TA6053ci

We have a machine that'll throw the c5101 code extremely intermittently. Sometimes it'll go 2 months without the error. Initially the black main charge roller was replaced, followed by the black drum. Code returned and the HV board was replaced. The machine went 2 weeks and guess what, code returned.

With it being so intermittent, what else?

Are you resetting SIM930 or doing maintenance without power cord unplugged? Check your U000 to make sure it's registered new drum serial number. The machine being unplugged a weird but necessary step on these.

On these 3-series boxes, I'm finding that the screws are loose on the power boards (LV, HV, main, engine, feed-image, drive-image) which has been causing all sorts of "haunting" issues. it's worthwhile to get the HV and cage behind out and secure all the screws holding the LVPWB, and every other board you can reach.

Also, regarding c510x specifically, it makes a difference that the u930 MC counters are set to match the actual condition of the charge rollers for avoiding the code, especially if humidity conditions are fluctuating to medium or high.

        That was my idea.

I've temporarily swapped in used primary charge units before, and it's a quandary whether to reset the counter on a unit with 200K, if you're only choices are 0 (reset) or 300K. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
