    No SSL SMTP Security?

I have a question. Am I missing something. I’ve setup a couple of MA models the latest being a 4000x. Usually SSL is available by default which is what I need for scan to email setup. I made sure what I thought was all the proper boxes checked off but there’s not an ssl option. Is it not available on these models. Setting up an office 365 login server and TLS port 587 not working. Getting 4803 errors with those settings.

Did you turn on the TLS/ SSL/ SHA setting in network security?

SSL doesn't really exist anymore. In prior versions the option would list SSL\TLS1.0 as a combo protocol group but they finally removed the 'SSL' tag.

If you enabled TLS 1.0 (hoping to get SSL) then your likely getting disconnects because Big Brother Bill doesn't want that weak trash on his servers.

Turn off TLS 1.0 and the SHA1 HASH for BOTH the Clientside and Serverside sections.

Thanks for the help guys. Yes on the TLS and SHA. Didn't check off tls 1.0 just stuck with the defaults. What i did do though to remedy it is use port 25 which i haven't used in some time thinking most isp are blocking that port for security but it worked so I'm happy.

Try 2525 if 25 is blocked

Don't quote me on this but i think the new defaults have SSL/TLS 1.0 unchecked. It's pretty much dead now anyways.

By default SMTP Security is set to off and has to be switched to STARTTLS. You don't want to choose SSL/TLS.

SHA1/2 need be checked off as well, Server side and client side.
