a friend gave us a spare used DP-7110, it is Kyocera branded and previously installed on a Taskalfa 2552ci, perfectly functioning. We tried to install it on a Utax 2506ci that should be the equivalent machine of the Taskalfa 2552ci but the Utax does not recognize it.
Do you know if the DP are branded "locked" ? I did replace many DP in the past but this is the first time trying to install a Kyocera branded DP on a Utax.
