Kyocera CS-308ci toner levels at 0% even after changing toner

We have a 308ci that is not recognizing levels on 2 toners. All OEM toner.
-The waste toner is showing full even after changing it.
-yellow toner is at 59% even after changing toner
-Black is at 0% even after a new toner is put it.

Firmware was updated.

Any ideas or anyone see this before??

Try opening and closing the side door.
The Taskalfa 352ci (and others like it) would give this issue when the rear door is not shut properly.

Yep, agree with Kyotechnz. If a door is open and there is a toner out, you will not get a “cover open” warning as the toner warning overrides it. It’s a fault I’ve also seen on TA-351/352, 52 and 53 series. On the 52 and 53 series the machines really get their knickers in a twist and after you have made sure all the doors are closed, reinsert the old empty toner to recover the machine. When it prompts you it’s empty, change it to the new one that previously wasn’t recognised.
