    Different Results From Different Copiers

    Hello there!
My company is using Kyocera 3040's, 3540's, we are attempting to add an additional paper tray to many of our copiers and use them as our membership card printers. We are getting a wide variety of outcomes when it comes to where the names and account numbers are printing. It's not the image that we are sending to the printer because it's the same image being sent to all of them. We are using the KX drivers. We believed "Fit" to be the proper setting to choose when we initially set it up and choosing that each time does not fix the variation that we are seeing. The differences that we are seeing varies from left to right and up and down. The paper is in the paper tray up against the guides so that's the issue. We uninstall and reinstall the driver just to make sure there's nothing there. We check all the settings within the command center and don't see anything there. What could be causing the variation?? Looking for some ideas.....

Thank you so much for any advice!!

Are these new out of the box or used copiers you are installing? If they are used have you tried a U21, U02? Is the firmware up to date on all of them? Are you using the same browser with the latest KX driver?

I would think that "Fit Image" would not be the appropriate driver setting if you want specific information in exactly the same place every time.

Let's back up a little. What kind of media is this? What media type is selected? Is this media suitable for Kyocera printers? I've seen many different kinds of pre-printed pre-perforated ID cards that are suitable for inkjet ... but absolutely not suitable for laser printing.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
