MA3500cifx ISU CIS bad pixel causing black band on copies

MA3500cifx ISU CIS bad pixel causing black band on copies. Anyone run across this issue? I've tried to scan and upload a sample but it won't pickup the small black band.
I've removed the DP and glass and then inspected and cleaned the CIS. The black band looks as small as a single pixel.
I was able to take a picture with a magnifying glass.

I've ordered a new ISU 302K94020 as well as the two FCC's. Also the two test charts for calibration.

I've had dropouts when a CIS was on its way out, but at seemingly random times and on older equipment. It is from the micro capacitors failing. This appears to be more like a manufacturer defect.
