Kyocera 3011i Card authentication kit B

Hey all, I picked up a couple of these low meter models from a wholesaler recently, good machines that are pretty reliable although the fusers don't go the rating. Anyway, these 2 came in with the Card authentication kits installed. I've never sold or installed one, but I figured out where the card reader was and removed that. However, when I press the system menu button, go into system network, and select options, I can see it there but it won't allow me to delete it. It says it's running, I have the machine where it doesn't ask for anything just comes to ready, but apparently the license is still running in the background. I found the set up instructions online for it but it only covers installation and use, not removal. I don't see it causing a problem but I'd like to remove it if possible as I will never use this kind of stuff, I'll be throwing physical card readers away. Anyone know the removal/deletion process for this license software? Also, this same wholesaler has a couple more in stock that I was thinking of buying but he can't get the meter of them because they have PaperCut software installed. After researching, this seems to be some sort of 3rd party super duper job accounting software, just more bells and whistles that I would never use and could potentially cause issues. Is there a process to get rid of that one too?

You can remove the Papercut Hypas app, but you can't remove the card reader license.
    Hope that helps !

Cool, I figured there had to be a way for that one. The info I found online said you need an administrator login, but can you do it through the network system options icon and delete it there? I'm hoping the tech login will suffice to delete it.

Yep, there is an admin login on the Papercut login. You should be able to use Admin for both to bypass Papercut and get into the system menu to remove it from the application section.
        Hope that helps !
