AK-7100 vs AK-7110

Anyone know the differences between the AK-7100 and Ak-7110? We have a few of the 7100 but need the 7110. Any way to configure 7100 to work with the 53 series? Thanks.

I managed to fit a 7100 in an 03 series machine and got a message on the screen saying wrong AK kit or something like that. Maybe getting a controller board from a 7110 will fix this.

Thanks for the replies. yeah i got the error also. Thats when i realized (remembered) there is a difference. I was hoping to utilize what we had in stock. I bet these end up setting on our shelf forever. thanks again.

there are completely different motor/gearing inside and a different board between those, I looked inside. Unfortunately, aren't compatible.

Good to know I thought they had just added something to the ak controller to say its incompatible.
