    TASKalfa 4002i - C7490 & C6900 errors

    Have a 4002i machine throwing C7490 and C6900 codes but only when running 8 1/2 x 14 duplex copies. Have ordered a edge fan motor 302K994360 and hopes that it fixes it. Have run U037 and do not hear the fan running.

    Anyone else ever had this issue?

      Found that the YC7 connection on the Feed Drive PWB was not fully plugged in and the bottom. Reseated the plug and now it works OK.

          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
