M5526dcw bright prints or not ?

Hello,This week is the week of interesting Kyocera errors for me.Please look at the pictures.
Overall light prints on all colors See status page but not on test page. How is that possible ?
Is that a software Kyocera gimmick?Because: see below...
Cleaning, calibration, firmware, the usual has already been done.
Note: Customer installed neutral toner, but when I look at the status page, that can hardly be the error.
    Greetings Markus

Ecoprint is off, I switched it on for fun and it's almost illegible. Thats not the failure.

It looks like poor black developing to me. I don't have much use for the Kyocera internal prints. They generate prints that effective hide a wide variety of anomalies. Try something like this:
          Attached Files
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Assuming copies and regular prints from your pc are faded also, is your FW up to date? If Ecoprint is for sure turned, off, then it seems like a board/voltage/memory issue since the test prints are so good. How is the power at the outlet?

Good luck. That's a good one.

Keeping an eye on this one, I have quit a few of these out in the field and I have not ran across this issue. I'm curious,... If you scan the gray scale test sheet on to a thumb drive & then print it out from the thumb drive, what is the quality like? Then take the thumb drive & pop it in the PC & print it out to the device, what is the quality like? have you cleaned the charge roller for bk unit?

Hello,Thanks to everyone for taking part, the error affects all colors, so I didn't assume it was a developer or drum error,
but in the meantime I tried it out and found the error.

The error was a clogged residual toner return of the cleaning unit on the transfer belt.
Too much toner residue remained on the transfer belt. The device could not calibrate itself correctly, which then led to these pale colors.
Conversely, this means that the values printed on the test page are not those that the device measured after printing,
but values that it specified and should be.
                What ?Who knows that?
After clearing the blockage everything works as it should.
Hope it helps someone in the future.
                Markus

There also have been improvements to that primary transfer belt assembly, exactly because of this issue. The new part number is: TR-5230: 302R793072
