Manual Staple not working on a DF-7110 Finisher

Hi All,

I am having an issue where there manul staple function on a DF-7110 is unresponsive. The stapler functionality works when copying/printing but not when pressing the buttons to enable manual stapling. I haven't come across this issue and have tried thw "Reset Disable functions" within the maintenence menu but this has not helped.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can try next?

Try System Menu >Common Settings>Manual Staple and make sure someone didn't disable it.

Sorry to highjack or distract from the thread, but the 4 series comes defaulted to A4. They need to be set to letter.

Thank you very much, absloutely spot on. After plugging in the connector, the manual staple funcionality has been restored.
