Kyocera Taskalfa 4551ci blue and yellow dots

So I am having an issue with our Kyocera Taskalfa 4551ci. Whenever I do colored prints I always get these 5 yellow dots in the same position on every paper and especially with full-page colored pictures I get these blue splotches/dots across the image that seem to be roughly in the same area as the yellow dots. I have done all the calibrations and cleaned the drum units and developer units. I assume I am needing to replace the drum units, developer units, or both. But I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if it is the drums and developers or something else. Thanks.

If those spots are repeating at 37.5mm intervals, you'll need to replace primary charge unit(s).

Try printing this image to see which color primary charge units need to be replaced:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Printed the file and seems to still have the blue and yellow dots. Do you think I can just replace the charge rollers or should I look into replacing the whole unit? Thanks for the quick response!

The dots are from the charge rollers, if the drums are in good shape and not near end of life you can replace just the rollers. If they are close to end of life it would probably be better to replace the drums, which would include new charge rollers.

Sounds good. I think I'll just end up replacing all the drums. The Machine I assume has well passed the mileage of these drums with the printer being at 326k sheets. Thanks for all the help!

            Drums are rated for 600k.

I think that you'll find that cost prohibitive. I think that I would start with four primary charge units. =^..^=

This thread makes me laugh little. OP asks for advice. Gets the same advice from everyone and that is the replace the PCR's. OP says, nah, I think I'll replace all the drums.

I'll definitely try just replacing the PCR's. The reason for me just saying I'll replace the whole drums was that I was thinking they had generally the same life span as the fuser unit I just replaced which was rated for 300k. Now that I know the drums are rated for 600k It's definitely worth trying the PCR's and hopefully saving some money. Thanks again for the advice, I'm not super familiar with working on this printer so it helps a lot.
