    8003i/9003i Wire Harness Jig

    Gentleman,

Does anyone here know if Kyocera still produces wire harness jigs for the products that still use a pull-out style right door? They use to have a jig for the older 51ci machines and it would be nice if they produced them for the 8003i/9003i machines as well. For those that don't know, the harness jig allowed you to run/test the machine with the right door open. I've asked our tech rep and he's looking into it, but I figured I'd throw it out to you guys as well.

so you are just trying to trick the copier into thinking the door is closed? no jig needed, just use a piece of paper. slide it into where the door closes on the sensor. have done it on kyoceras and other brands as well. have also used a flathead screw driver, piece of cardstock paper, and etc.. give it a try.
