    Kyocera M2040dn C6600 weird one

Hi guys, Customer bought new from me in 2019, new car dealership. They were using it pretty hard (did 120K) to June of 2021 they quit using it for a while, sitting with no use sine then and had 145K on it total.. while it was sitting, we robbed the fuser & drum unit out of it & it just sat till yesterday, they hired a new guy and wanted the machine back up to snuff. I fired the machine up with an old fuser & drum unit in it, it came up with the C6600 code... I figured it was because it needed a new fuser, so I installed a brand new fuser, plugged it back in and turned on, same code after it starts to warm up, C6600... I removed the fuser & noticed the gear on the left side just free wheels with never catching on to the drive system... Is there a separate drive that controls that gear on the left, like it has a flip flop gear that engages? They have about 10 of these M2040's with never having seen this issue.

Not sure it is worth messing with, but thought I would see if it is something simple.

Replace the fuser drive assy part # 302RV94021. That should solve the issue.

Thanks a bunch, doesn't look too bad to do either.
