    [Misc] Kyocera TA-3552ci, "Adjusting Scanner"

I have a 3552ci that has started displaying "Adjusting Scanner" after the machine has been is sleep mode. When you press the energy saver button to bring the machine out of sleep mode, the display looks normal and you can make selections on the display but the start button doesn't light up or work. If you turn the machine off/on with the main switch it then works fine until it goes into the sleep mode again. I updated the firmware to the latest version with KFS while onsite. I'm thinking ISU PWB or Engine PWB is my next step. Any additional ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Marty

Check to see if the top cover of the document processor is completely closed, or the latches broken. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Hello everyone,
I wanted to give an update on this machine. I verified that the document processor cover was closing properly, and the hinges were in good condition. I backed up the customers information with simulation 917 and then performed memory initialization with simulation 21. I also formatted the hard drive with simulation 24. I restored the customer information with simulation 917. I have contacted the customer twice since performing these actions and they said it is working well. Thanks again for your input, it was much appreciated.
