Kyocera ECOSYS M3550IDN - Grinding Sound Near Fuser Area After Replacement

Hello. My company has a Kyocera ECOSYS M3550IDN printer whose fuser broke several months ago. I replaced the fuser with a spare from another printer we had in storage, and it worked fine at first. However, after about a month a noticeable grinding sound started coming from the printer. From what I can tell it appears to be coming from the back of the printer near the fuser area.

Could it be that the spare fuser has gone bad or is it another part in the back end? Just want to know and see what should be done regarding this.

Depending on how old the fusers were they released an upgraded fuser. FK-3302

Some of the first fusers had the incorrect grease applied from factory and would piss away way shorter than lifespan. Put a new fuser in they are cheap! Also insure it is the fuser making noise as there was a design change for the cleaning auger and end cap. ( toner drop would be noticible as auger would back up and clog). cheers
