Kyocera M4132 Black Vertical Hazy Line On Back Of Page

    Good Morning

i have a customer with a M4132 with a little over 30k on their machine. They're getting a black shaded line on the back of copies/prints. If you run single pages it happens every time. If you run multiple pages it only happens on the first page and nothing on the rest. Weird problem and it happened all of a sudden. Should i be looking at a bad transfer assembly?

    Thanks in advance

Seems like a logical place to start would be transfer. Are they getting correct voltage and ground from the wall outlet?

Yes all wall voltages and ground check out. The first thing i thought of was it looked like a bad ground.

        Mono component toner system.
Vaccum toner completely from dv unit and refill by U130 with brand new toner cartridge.
        No usage from fake toner!
This procedure was always helpfull on Tomcat series which has same toner controlling
        e.g. TASKalfa3212i/ 4012i

I had a similar problem on a Kyocera 3212i that was leaving blacks streaks from top to bottom on back side of paper. I replaced the whole Developer unit and got rid of the problem. I thought about vacuuming toner from the DV and refill it by U130 with fresh toner. My boss only provides compatible toner maybe that is why it had issues in the first place??

Compatible toner is no good idea.
