TA 2552ci no image Carrier on page.

    Hi Guys

    Some assistance needed please.

Attached image of what the prints look like when I got to the machine, that image you see is Dev carrier and no toner present on print. My first thoughts are high voltage board or contacts or engine board.

I double checked all the cabling and connections, also checked connections where drums and Devs and TR connect. Did not find any issues or visual deffects. All motors turn and there are no error on the machine.

Did not replace any units yet as I am bit lost at where to even start.

Any assistance or thoughts on possible cause welcome please.

    Thank you.

It looks like a depleted DV unit. Have you noticed any loose developer in the machine? Try replacing the DV unit first and see what you get.

Had a TA2553ci pulling all devs, last thing we tried was the image feed pwb and not been back since... alot of money spent on dev units/pwbs to get to bottom of it, some be warranty

I had the same pattern with Cyan. I replaced the Cyan developer and it fixed the issue. The customer upgraded 2 months later but during that 2 months the issue didn't come back.

Apologies for only updating the post now. Rather late than never hey.

The culprit was the high voltage board.
I swapped out each Dev unit but did not make any difference. Swapped the high voltage board from a working machine and all was good, swapped it back twice just to make sure and was same result each time.
Had to replace the K Dev because each test printed depleted all the carrier from the K Dev.

            Machine now running 100%

Thank you for all the suggestions guys.
