Kyocera (Utax) 3206ci Automatically open copy function?

Hi all, recently was called to a Utax 3206ci, customer states they got a new, slightly used machine and it will not automatically open the copy function when you place a document on the platter.
I must say we deal majority in Konica's and I honestly have no clue if ti's ment to open that function or not. I know for a fact Konica's do it but that's due to a different UI.
Could someone reimburse me here and tell me if those 3206ci models are ment to automatically open the copy function once you put a document on the platter?

    Thanks.

UTAX 3206ci is common to Taskalfa3252ci
needed feature not available on Kyocera systems.
But you can set default screen by using this way:
[System Menu/Counter] key > [Common Settings] > [Default Screen]
Select the screen appearing right after start-up (default screen).
Value: Home, Copy, Send, FAX*1, Status, Custom Box, Job Box,
Removable Memory, FAX Box*1, Program, Home (Accessibility), Accessibility
Copy, Accessibility Send, Accessibility FAX*1, Internet Browser*2, Application
    Name*3
*1 Displayed only when the optional FAX Kit is installed
*2 Configure necessary settings for Internet Browser.
*3 The running application will be displayed.
