S000 error when updating firmware 5053

Anyone else seen this on some machines they'll refuse to update? It's usually always the last board to update which is the main board I think it's in the list as CP.

Tried to deleting esskip file but will error out at end of updating. It didn't matter what firmware I used even if I tried to flash the firmware that's currently on the machine. I was using same usb drive I've used to update countless machines with same firmware I use every where else.

Machine still worked but on status page it just lists the firmware version as _____.____.____ instead of usual numbers. The machine died a few hours later so I'm going to have to replace the main board I think. I've had one not update and usually deleting esskip file will work but this one won't take any in its current state.

Thanks could be SSD about to fail then. I went back today no idea why this worked but I did "firmware update security" and used 2020 fw without esskip file.

Re: S000 error when updating firmware 5053

5053 will accept 2V8 FW only.
        e.g.
        Version:
        2V8_S000.002.591 - MAIN
        2V8_7200.001.005 - PANEL
        2V8_1000.003.001 - ENGINE
It`s still running with 2V8xx version and you can`t install other one like 2XD from Iris 2020.
Only 1 time after mounting from new SSD you can use other FW like 2XD version, but you will get C0060 after reboot.
At least, take care if you mount new ssd card, unlock usb ports before, otherwise system won`t run upgrade 2nd time and finally stucks in welcome screen...
1th upgrade would controlled by nand chip on main pwb, no controlling from usb ports if blocked or not.---> System will format ssd and main fw would installed.
2nd upgrade would done based on the new installed main fw and therefore fw will see blocked usb port and no upgrade procedure would done.-----> this means no installation from panel fw on ssd card, no installation from compatible engine fw ---> stuck in welcome, red warning led, other problems ---> but you can`t see the reason without well working screen....

Thanks for the warning wow would have thought they would of realised if you've blocked usb you could still force fw with a new SSD.

I need to do more tests but I usually extract the firmware on my tablet then move it to usb drive I think it's struggling with the long names on some of the files. I think extracting fw zip using a tablet is my issue.
