What is a Wise Core Printer?

    Happy Holidays everyone

I am working with IC Link and I see a check box from "Wise Core Printer". I cannot find any information about it. I'm thinking its a generation (controller version or type of controller) of printer/copier, but can't find a good answer. If it is a type of controller? is there a list of models that have them?

    Thanks for the help

Re: What is a Wise Core Printer?

The Falcon III was the first WyseCore processing printer, around October 2006. I may be wrong about this, but I believe every Kyocera print engine after that is a WyseCore device.

Up until then Kyocera devices were certainly multifunctional, but only one function at a time. On a FalconII, if you sent a scan, the scan must complete before you do anything else. The FalconIII was Kyocera's first device to drop the job into memory, then perform the jobs as resources became available.

I doubt very much that your device is older than October 2006. I'll welcome correction from anybody who knows better. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
