KM-3060 + DF-730 J81 jams

Hi Guys,
We have a KM-3060 with a DF-730 that jams in the copier exit section (J81) during longer multi copy runs.
We did replace the AK-670 a while ago and did believe it was solved but now the customer calls again
Firmware is ver 2.20.
Any suggestions?

Does it fold the paper like a taco in the inner tray? If so we fixed that by adding a spring to that flapper. If you will notice there is a hook for one but not one.

This answer above is for the DF-710 not the DF-730.

Not sure on the DF-730 other than the exit section was causing issues and was upgraded with mylars for the jam 81.

Your hand is in the way in the photo, but is there a black plastic guide on the upper entrance of the finisher?

This machine does not have the mylars, but as I understand the bulletin this is the new version

KM3060(Olivetti D3000MF) + DF-730 J81 paper jams

Have recently set up 2 of these machines fullhouse with DF-730 (the new type) and Job separators and am also having endless problems with jams when copies/prints exit to the finisher. Managed to sort of get it going on single sided copying/printing but double sided is disastrous. Both machines are of the newer type with mylars removed and ribs added and both machines on firmware version 2.20. My bigest problem is that these machines are about 1450 km from our offices....lol. Both finishers are also on latest firmware.

Have now done the same set-up in my office but have as yet not upgraded the firmware on the machine. Finisher FW also latest version. Machine FW is a version somewhere just below ver 2.20 but I cannot find it in the download areas. The engine fw does not correspond to any of the fw versions that I have at my disposal, but the good news is this machine does not have any paper jams.

Do these jams have something to do with firmware??

KM3060 (Olivetti 3000MF) & DF-730 Jams

Well, have upgraaded the firmware to version 2.20 and have rum about 3000 double sided prints and this machine hasn't even dreamt of a hiccup. Am rathher confused as to why the other 2 machines with the same conffigurations are giving me such endless problems.
