    KM C3225 C6030 Error

I have a Utax CDC1625 which I think is the equivalent of the KM C3225?
I had a C6100 error which I reset but it now comes up with a C6030 error.
I've tried the 163 fuser error reset numerous times to no avail. The customer said the machine made a horrible noise when she first switched it on but I've had the fuser, drums, cleaner units out and they all turn okay. Any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks Viking, I take it this is a common one then? I don't usually look at Utax, mainly Canon. I don't think this will be under warranty as we took this machine on as part of a deal when we sold some Canons. We're not a Utax dealer and I don't think their original supplier will get involved as they lost the account to us. Is there anywhere we can buy parts for these and does the fuser only come as a complete unit?

      Regards

Kyocera has fixed these fuser problems in later production. The machines that came out 15 months ago had lots of fuser problems. The main problem is that the thermostat contacts the heated roller (inside the fuser belt), and starts to rub and vibrate. Eventually that vibration will cause that thermostat to fail even if it never experiences an over-temperature condition. That's what makes the coffee grinder sound. That sound usually means that you have less than a week to get that fuser changed.

Kyocera does not offer us any replacement parts for those fusers, just assemblies. The few spare parts I've gathered came from the few fusers that actually got 300K. The later production fusers are a vast improvement. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

One year warranty. The warranty is expired on most of my Voyagers.

Actually the warranty on the fuser is for three years or 300K because it is part of the PM kit
