    How to reset administrator password on KM-C3232E?

    Hi everyone

    I have a problem with a Kyocera KM-C3232E, i need to reset the administrator password. And i can't find anything in the service manual or the advanced operation manual.

    Is there a prescribe command i can use with KMnet Viewer for example??

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks in advance

    Try this:
    !R! EGRE; EXIT;
    This should reset the engine board to factory defaults along with the admin password. Note: default admin password should be "admin00".
    Good luck...

      Have you tried the defaults 3200 or 6482?
      Even if 3200 has been changed, the 6482 is not so commonly known.

      All the PreScribe commands I can find require the knowing of a valid admin password. For example:

      This command resets all account codes to the machine defaults at setup. Where you see "3200" you can also try "6482" but you must know one of them.

      !R! ACNT "ADMN", "3200";
      ACNT "REST";
      ACNT "EDAD";EXIT;

      This command will register a new account code (in this example the new account code # is 00000001), but you can see in the first line that you still need the admin password.

      !R! ACNT "ADMN", "3200"
      ACNT "CODE", "00000001"
      ACNT "EDAD";EXIT;

      For more details see software Solutions Bulletin #9. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Okay thanks, i will try this tomorrow
        I have already tried admin00, but it did not work.

        I have tried 6482, but it did not work with the command center, only on the machine. i have not tried 3200. but i dont think it will work, those passwords is only used on the machine menu as far as i know?

        note:
        The problem is, when our customer is sending a print job to the machine, it only prints a lot of text, looks like some sort of codes... But there is applied 5logical printers to the print controller, and i think that is why it cant print. To delete those logical printers, i believe i have to get acces to the command center?? but it is password protected, and its not the default password "admin00", i have also tried not to write any, but that didnt work either.

        Sorry for my bad english, i hope you understand me

          Ah! You didn't say anything about Command Center. This is the command:

          !R! ACNT "REST";EXIT;

          It resets the command center to its default password- no password. I've had to do this before. It works. =^..^=
