    KM-6030\8030 vert. trans. sensors

Hi, is there anyone having problems with the vertical transport sensors getting "stuck" or comming "loose" causing jams etc.
I don't know what is causing this, is there any mods for this?

The main reason comes down to the machine jamming and the customer pulling the cassette before removing paper from the right side. Best thing is to train the customer to read the f&^%##g display starting with step 1. If not follow the bulletin. And make sure you address any jamming issues.

I also found that the idiot of a customer slams the side door instead of pushing in the middle to fully close the door. Couldn't understand it at first tried glueing them down untill I found this out by doing it myself. Had a jam, leaned over to the side to shut the door from the top but it wasn't fully closed so i gave it a bit more and bingo i knocked the sensor out of its housing.

The sticker to say "push" is so small the customer doesnt know its there or are just plain dumb

          sensors

had this lots of times. the best thing is superglue the sensors back on and telling the customer off. on the newer model 6030/8030 just about released the sensors are bolted on to try and stop this from happening

Funny thing those new Taskalfas 620/820. It looks like Kyocera took all the bugs out of the KM6030/8030, painted it black and named it Taskalfa 620.
