    TAskAlfa 250ci CF526 codes

    HAs anyone else had a problem with this particular CF code? It appears to be realted to the fax somehow. We had one at a customer location that logged 21 of them till we had to pull it out and put a 3050 loaner in.

    Have changed the hard drives and the memory. Made certain we had the fax cable for the system because we were made aware that might actually be an issue in some cases.

    Any help would be nice before we don our tinfoil hats.

          Version 5.0 firmware fixed most of the fax system Q problems. I'd try downgrading to v. 5.0 if your at 6.0. Next I might try changing the Code DIMM.

          My CF code list says "cf5xx: undefined". If you have some confidence that it is fax related I'd swap out the fax system Q.
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              If you remove the fax board and the memory dimm do you still get the error? if so I would reload the firmware. If you dont get an error after removing the fax I would refit it and try u600 and or u601
