    TaskAlpha series

I thought i posted this, but apparently not.

I had another thread going where i had to rip apart a 500 to the frame. During that i removed the exit unit and found a gear worn out.

well, my 500 started misfeeding on occasion. come to find out all 4 gears on the exit unit have warbled out. might want to keep an eye on these if you start having misfeeds in the fuser/exit area. it was causing a fold in the paper only if going to the finisher, not to the internal tray.

Thanks L. That's something that I'll keep an eye on.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
