Have a KM3530 in the field that keeps saying Empty hole punch, but it is empty....can anyone tell me what else to check? Also they say it won't hole punch during printing but will for copying, was working before but not now. Any ideas?

I'd start out with a U906 partial reset. If the source of the error is intermittent it may not re-occur.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

isnt there a sim to clear the hole punch count as well? dont have a manual in front of meComment

I agree. It's my understanding that the partition switch is what resets the counter. make sure the copier is on when you remove the punch waste bottle to empty it. If the partition switch is bypassed (or jury rigged) it won't reset the counter. (partition switch is the bottle in switch)My mission here on Earth is to help all you Dum-Dums!Comment

hole punch printing problem
lets fix the hole punching printing problem...
interesting... go into the driver properties... device settings... and then make sure that the finisher is displayed you may have to auto configure it and then exit out or select the finisher and add the option by checking boxes and exit out...
in whatever case... the function must be available and selected for the hole punch to work... so 3000 sheet finisher should be selected and then hole punching becomes available and you select that and then apply and exit out...
now try printing something and hole punching should be available...
