    km3530 original size

Customer says when feeding in originals, sometimes it will print a different orientation so it cuts off half the document. I'm guessing the feeding in LTR but it's detecting LTR-R. Is there an adjustment for this? thanks. I put new sep roller on the feeder a while back but this has just started evidently.

Replace the size detect pcb for the side guides or you could try cleaning it.

^^^^Is right I would take the paper tray apart and clean the sensor board the size guides ride up and down on. sometimes the grease can get old and cause bad connections between the guides and the board with the printed circuits.

You can adjust the simulation for the sensitivity but the best fix is to buy some of those little felts that go on the bottom of chairs so you do not scratch a wood floor. Put one of them on the bottom of the actuator that hits the switch when the document is closed.

End results it will hit the switch faster and your problems will be gone.

The other thing I have noticed is if you close the document feeder on the left hand side when you put your original on the glass you will not have this problem'

grab the feeder from the right hand side and this problem will increase without your actuater peice.

This is the correct fix for on the glass but not for the feeder. You can also take the small cover off around the switch (machine side) and snip the top of the flag off making the sensor register faster without having anything visible different.
