    KM-4050 Touch Screen

I have a customer that says the display will randomly go crazy moving the image up so you cant see the ready to copy or quantities and has a blank spot at the bottom. anyone else had this happen? I dont really want to order the almost $700 dollar lcd just to try.

I don't know how old the firmware is but you can always try flashing it.
Or sim 906 but those things were really slow and stuff till about the second or third generation of firmware.

It's probably the ribbon cable to the panel. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That's a new problem to me, I would always recommend flashing the firmware first, then spend the bucks on the part.
