Customer is using preprinted paper. It appears that the paper contains offset powder that is coating the rollers in the copier and causing slippage and misfeeds. I can clean the feed rollers and within 20 copies they turn white with dust and start to misfeed. Please comment if you have any experience with preprinted paper issues. I am having a difficult time convincing sales that the paper may be the cause of the problem.

You won't be surprised by my response. It doesn't work, It won't work, please stop trying.
I had one customer trying to print ledger size posters with some sort of waxy surface coating that covered bypass rollers, drum, fuser, everything.
In another case a funeral home was copying pre-printed prayer cards onto pre-perforated, glittery, non-standard sized cardstock. It was the worst of all worlds. The salesman kept questioning me about the best machine to do this particular task. My response was "Some other brand of copier." =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
