    Kyocera Mita DC 3060 Drawer Error

    Receiving a "Drawer inoperable" error display... copier will only use the bypass tray.... it does not notice any other paper tray? Any suggestions or known resets?

    Make sure there are no obstructions around the cassette and run sim 96.

          906 is for the digital machines. Maintenance mode in the analogs only have 2 digits.

            Pull out the drawers and check behind them for small scraps of paper stuck in the connectors at the rear of the drawers. Sim 96 should do a "Reset disable function" on this machine. Check both the connector on the drawer itself and the connector it plugs into inside the copier.

                    C251 = Drawer 2 lift motor problem
                    Either lifting is bad or it doesn't detect the lifted paper. Could be bad motor, bad switch, broken lift mechanism, bad connection to switch, etc.

                      Try switching the lift motor with the one for the other drawer and see if the problem follows the motor. Also try swapping switches, feed units, etc... to narrow down the culprit.
