    8030 skews on duplex

I have an 8030 that skews only on deplex. I've cleaned all the rollers, checked the paper and paper sources and tried adjustments. Anyone have any ideas?

There are three things to check:

The switchback roller that reverses the paper for face-down delivery can wear from a nice level cylinder shape to a crown shape at around 1M prints.

The side guides must be centered and adjusted to a 1mm clearance, front to rear. Set simulation U052 to -20, and press interrupt to print. The resulting print will stop in the duplex tray with a J62 jam. Carefully open the duplex tray and center the switchback tray using the slotted screw to leave equal amount of space to the front & rear guides. Once the tray is centered, increase the value of U052 until the gap is 0.5mm at the front and rear guides (~ -6).

The white idler roller over the switchback roller can start to bind up. When you remove the idler roller you may notice rust, the roller may squeal when rotated, may be difficult to turn, or all of the above. Clean & lubricate the idler bore.

    That's a good start... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I appreciate the help. I think the problem is the switchback roller. Will let you know how it turns out.

Is this a mod that was released in England? I can't find anything on this on KMA connect.
