Mixed size printing on KM copiers

I have some clients that would like to print .pdf docs that have multiple sizes in them. From what I have seen in working with the TaskAlfa series of KM machines they do not support this feature. Has anyone else encountered this and came up with a solution? Additionally, I believe you can send from applications such as Word and have it work correctly. Is this a limitation of their emulated PS3? Please advise.
    Thanks!

I have a customer that is printing pdf to an FS-1128MFP that contains both letter and legal and it works. So I assume that it'll work in the larger boxes.

This may be really old news, but very old versions of Acrobat Reader (I'm assuming Acrobat, as well) could not print mixed sizes in the same file.

I think that changed with version 6, but I don't remember for sure. I know, that's really old, but some people are still running the old stuff.

The bottom line is that it was an application problem, and not a printer or driver problem.

I don't think that was ever an issue with Word.

I wish it was an issue like an older software package, but they have all of the latest Acrobat versions/driver/firmware and this issue persists. From what I have read the way the machine deals with sheet size is that the first page determines how the rest of the pdf is handled. Seems to be a pretty limited way to print pdf. Nobody from Kyo has had any workarounds either.
        Thanks for the responses!

Ever try the "Print as Image" setting?
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

I have used both the KX driver set to KPDL, and also have used print as image. It happens at the machine as well if you were to print from a USB drive. In my previous experience with copiers that can process PDF they don't ignore the size.
