    Well, thats a bigger job than I want to try to explain online. The 1820 never should have been sold with a scanner since its so user unfriendly. The new 1128 is much better. Matter of fact, so is the average office depot junk. We only sold them as copy/print & never even told the customer it would scan at all. Other than that, great machine.

        The 1028 & 1128 are the units that replaced the 1820. They are NICE units with duplexing & all the features of the console machines.

        Scan to email is exactly the same as setting up an email account on a computer with the exception of needing to put the DNS server into the copier. You can find it by doing IPCONFIG/ALL in the cmd prompt.

          It won't do this over usb...

          the 1820 has to be networked...

            You can't get to the Command Center via USB can you ?

              you could try a really crazy option like a usb to ethernet adapter but I doubt it would work...
