CS-2560 Scan to Email - HELP

All - I have been checking around and have spent HOURS trying to properly set up the scan to email. I mastered the scan to FTP, but cannot get email to work.

I am using verizon for DSL as well as email. I have tried many combinations in the command center, all to no avail.

Can someone help with some step by step for me? I am sick of looking incompetent.

Can you post screen shots from the command center ? Are you using hostname of the mail server ? If so, you need DNS. Also are you using the mail server of the ISP ? If not, they may to allow relaying of mail to someone else's server.
