    scanner time on KM3530

Can someone tell me how to adjust the time on for the scans. Their emails are showing 9:54 AM when it's actually 3:54 PM here. I had her to set the time to the correct time and it still shows the wrong time. I then read in the manual about the GMT difference. ?? Had her put that to -06:00 and that didn't change a thing even after cycling power. I had her to go in a check that it was still at -6 and it was. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to adjust the time and then leave it at 00:00? But, when I do that, it is 6 Hours behind....Any input appreciated.......

Yes, they are scanning to email. It only shows the wrong time, when scanning from the machine. Other emails show the correct time. They actually walk to the machine, scan it to themselves, and then forward to whomever. The scanned email show the wrong time in the inbox.

After changing the time zone your customer will have to go back and re-set the time. I've done this myself many times. If they set the time, then set the time zone to -5, then the time is off by 5 hours. Re-set the time.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
