    KM2550

    Hi all,
Have a km2550 in the field that has been causing me problems almost since installation. The main problem at the moment is jamming in the fuser. Now the customer prints off a daily newsletter with quite a lot of toner coverage(adverts etc) that causes over a short space of time, toner to build up on the paper side of the pick-off/seperator claws causing jams.Replacement or cleaning will sort the problem for a while. Also installed a cassette heater for paper issues and lightned the print density and dev bias.Should I make fuser adjustments,we have also had to replace the heatroller a couple of times even though the unit has only 150k on it.Is it me or are these models a disimprovement on the previous km model?? Thanks for any info.....

Lowering the fuser temps on these models is probably the way to go.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
