    Copystar CS-2550 Net working issue

    Copystar CS-2550 Net working issue
Until this week the product has been working fine now it will not print over the network
    (It copies fine)
Running windows XP and Vista not printing from any system.
No error messages on the CS-2550 control panel and other then the obligatory did not print message from windows, nothing
Here is what has been done
Checked all settings, IP address, gateway, sub-net-mask, (nothing has changed that I can see)
    Tried a new cable
Switch to known good port on the hub/modem
Installed the driver on my laptop and connected the laptop to the network
I even tried setting DHCP to on
The green light next to the port is lit when the cable is connected to the network.

    Still no go

It prints fine when connected USB
    Any ideas would be helpful
    Thanks

I replaced a NIC card for these symptoms on a CS-2050. Remember to plug in all the fax board connectors when you replace the NIC. That was the source of my recall. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

In reply to B0256 (Can you access the Command Center) No go.
I was thinking it was the NIC card but it does not hurt to get a second and some time a third opinion
        Thanks for all your help

Can you ping the IP of the NIC? Unplug the nic & ping again....make sure somebody else didn't decide to use the same IP address. It does sound like a bad NIC though. You can get the extra IB-21 cards for those......cheaper than a new print board.
