    Kyocera 4035 prob

I'm having probs with scanning. I assume it's the HD. Question is, where in the machine is the HD for the scanner? I took out the one in the back (slides right in) and fired up and the box, both the printer and the scanner came to ready... so I didn't think that was it.

    TIA.

Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

That was it. It comes to ready, but errors out when you try to scan. It's a Toshiba HDD2D10 40GB 5400RPM 2.5in IDE laptop hard drive. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Thanks man. I'll replace it.

the one that slides into the print system (right side) is only for print, the xx35-series does not have/need a scan(copy) hd, it's an option.
