    PF-750 can't open drawer

We have had a couple of PF-750's lately that have developed a problem where when the right tray runs out it tries to push it on up like there is paper in it and you can't open the drawer. That is you have to turn the machine off and tap the front of the drawer until it drops down a bit. We put a lift motor in one and today one tech putone of the cork pads from an adf where the roller meets the tray. Those have been a couple of temp fixes but we would like to know if anyone else has had this and knows a real fix. It ain't firmware either.

Would you have a link to that? We also had a tech install one of the cork sep pads from a ADF in one and it seems to be working. We can't see anything wrong with the tray.

I would really appreciate if anyone can enlighten me about the bulletin previously mentioned by taskalfaman.
We have lloked through the bulletins and cannot find it. However, experience has shown sometimes the are bulletins in Europe that aren't posted in the US.

          Please throw us a bone.

Sorry we already had that one and it's a different thing. This is when the tray tries to raise too high and you can't open the drawer. You have to turn the machine off and tap on the front of the door Fonzie style to get it to open.

Need the bulletin if it's there. Taskalfaman are you with us???????????????????????????????????????????????

You got me curious, so I dug through all the bulletins and Helpdesk records. I found exactly nothing that mentions the tray lift belts. Sorry. I'm no help. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That's ok and thanks to all. Don't know that it's belts really and we swapped the feed unit out thinking it may be a sensor issue. So far it's in three machines at two different locations. Two different companies as well which takes some of the human factor out...but maybe not all.

Hey Jimbo1, I checked the Kyocera, Utax, and the Olivetti tech sites and there is no mention of any related bulletin so im guessing it doesn't exist. Sorry I can't be of more assistance..
