    KM 4050 scanning issues

I have a customer scanning to doc box, when she opens adobe on her pc to retrieve the files she checks each file but can only retrieve one page at a time so if she's scanned 50 pages it's a royal pain to retrieve one page at a time is there anyway to check all the boxes and retrieve all pages at one time?

Also in the same office on another computer when she opens adobe and tries to bring up the scanner the 4050 isn't there, she has other scanners installed that show up in the dropdown box but not the 4050, I reinstalled the twain driver with no luck

I've got a lot of questions, and a few answers.

When your customer scans to the document box are these documents 50 pages in one file or 1 page each in 50 files. It sounds like the former is the desired, and the latter is what she's doing. It's just a setting difference: disable 1 file per page.

Regarding the TWAIN driver: I've had a situation with server 2008 environments where the TWAIN driver cannot find the Kyocera scanner, until the Scan File Utility is installed. It doesn't need to be setup or started, just installed. My unsubstantiated theory is that some necessary file gets installed when the Scan File Utility is installed that is need for TWAIN in a server 2008 environment.

This is how I figured this out. My customer calls and says they cannot get TWAIN driver to recognize the Kyocera scanner. I deleted out all previous installations of the TWAIN driver and install a fresh download. Still no joy. Just as a test, I install and setup the SFU, and it works. Now TWAIN works also. Stop the SFU, and TWAIN still works. I tried this at two different workstations with the same exact results. Maybe you can explain it to me... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I believe they want all the pages scanned at the same time in one file, where is the setting to disable 1 file per page? is this in the common settings on the 4050? looked but couldn't find it on the machine.

I will uninstall the twain and reinstall it along with the SCF tomorrow

      THANKS!

        From the advanced operators manual:
Go to System Menu > Common Settings > Functional Defaults > File Separation > Off > OK
        Attached Files
