What is Service Coder Error CO 220 for Kyocera CS 8030?
How can I fix this?

CPU communication problem
• Synchronization cannot be taken
between the main CPU and scanner
CPU.

1.Defective main
PWB.
Replace the main PWB.

2.Poor contact in the
connector terminals.
Check the connection of connector YC2 on
the engine PWB and YC5 on the scanner
PWB, and the continuity across the connector
terminals. Repair or replace if necessary.

3.Defective scanner
PWB.
Replace the scanner PWB.

I would try to reset--906--the machine first. I had a code C0210 that I fixed that way today.

I had the same problem

i did update the machine firmware and the scanner firmware, but this code 220 keep poping up from time to time, but at the end i changed the scanning board and it took care of it.
