    Fs-1128 scanning thin blue stripes.

This is a new installation the machine has done about 2000 prints. The customer is scanning in color and it's making thin blue streaks. The optics are clean.
    Any advice?

I've never seen that on the 1128, but playing with U063 and U068 has helped with the bigger color copiers.

This will only show up when you color scan. If you change the default to monocrome you won't have a problem. If they must use color scanning then Perform sim 425 with the digital color chart. Make sure you use the correct chart # 302FZ56990. This needs to be done even on new machines out of the box. Out of 30 mchines we had to do this on 70% of them. Let us know if it helps your situation. Don't forget to bump up the rep power for those who truely help you.

Ok so i got the chart today and i thought it would be easy to use (auto adjust) or something like that. but it was confusing to me, so i guess it's time to read the service manual!
