I have a customer with a km-4050 with a fax system M. I have been out there multiple times for some fax issues and would like to know if others have seen similar problems. First, the customer reports that they are receiving faxes from certain senders which are coming out as a print page and a second page that has no print on it except for 2 asterisks about 1-inch down. I would assume that the sender is sending a long page with these asterisks at the end and its coming out as a second page, but the problem is, when these same faxes are sent to a Samsung machine elsewhere in the office, the second page is not coming out and no asterisks anywhere. Also, they say the system sometimes locks up (I know there is a firmware fix) and that sometimes people get a busy signal all day, but when I go there, no problems. Has anyone had weird fax problems with this system?

I've had a few fax system M 's that just were not recognized by the machine. Reloading firmware made no difference. I ended up replacing those fax PWB's. Have you done a U600 fax initialize and/or reloading or upgrading the firmware to the current version 2.44? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
