    KM-7530 whooooos

    Hi guys,has any body out there has had an error code of
    C2550?on the service manual it says its a main motor problem and i have replaced it..could it be some sort of TORQUE being applied to the drive system?The machine has done 2.8million...Plse kmdude or any km expert...plse help another km tech...

      Have you rebuilt the drive assemblys in the machine? They need to be rebuilt. Also, make sure you clean and lube all bushings and pulleys in the fuser, duplex, switchback, transfer and transport assys. Another thing that can cause this code is drum and transfer cleaning assemblys along with waste toner auger assy. I know this is a lot to check, but with the volumn on the machine it is imperative..... Let me know if this helps.

      P.S. One other thing that can cause this, although I haven't see it on this machine (this is a big problem on Falcon I and II) check cover interlock switches. They may check fine, but contacts can be burnt not alowing full 24 volts.

          I would put in the full PM kit ( it is the 3.5mil kit) it has the fuser and cleaning assy in the kit. Do not use any oil or grease on the bushings or they will just gum up again. I use ames quick spray. It cleans the bushings while it lubricates.

              does it code out everytime the drive motor comes on (even when warming up) or does it happen after x amount of copies or only on long runs???

                  C2550 errors

                  PM kit has been put in.It only happens in the morning on start up...after a few attempts of switching on and off it will go on and on without fail...untill the next morning.but i think i have nutted it out..the ADPLX is putting a strain on the drive system.I work for the manufacturer so I dont take short cuts..he he he thkx for all your help on this one guys...talk soon 10871087..c ya..

                      Fix 4 U

                      Replace the cleaning unit assy. I had about 20 of these in a school system & they all did the same thing around 2 million. Good luck!
