    Possesed KM-4050

Customer has a KM-4050 on a construction site that was setup to print and scan and it worked fine. The copier was moved to another construction site and when the printer was setup it started spewing pages of code, after a few print jobs were sent. Even with the network cable unplugged it would still spew out pages of code. The copier would also periodically drop off the network. The copier was brought in the shop for repairs and it was setup in house on to the network and it worked fine. When the copier was returned to the customer after a few days the problem returned. Technical rep advised us to use printer deleter to delete old print drivers and use latest print driver. After that was done the copier was not communicating with the network again. After several attempts the printer was working, waiting to see if problem will happen again.Latest firmware was also done. Customer also has a Taskalfa 500ci on the same site with no problems. Any advice?

It sounds like dirty power to me. Set up a recording power quality analyzer. It's the only way to document issues like this.

A trailer on a construction site? Yep, Dirty power. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

When the machine was brought in for repairs the power supply had a blown fuse.
