Hi i have a KM5050 with an error CF620, i've been lead to believe it is related to the main controller board. My question is as a result will this need replacing or can i get away with a firmware update???
cf620 is a print card firmware error. The cause can be more difficult to determine.
1) There have been firmware levels that have produced CF620 codes. The latest firmware for the Falcon III is v 2.44
2) When printing duplex jams J00, and cf620 code. Change print emulation from PCL5e to PCL XL
3) When upgrading barcode font CF card v. 2.00.1A or 2.00.1B to 3.00.0B or 3.01.01B with IC Link utility, cf620 occurs. Use LPR Jar utility to upgrade CF card. IC Link utility does not work well with Wysecore based machines.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Thanks for the updates, the problem is related to the network. With the cable disconnected the printer works fine, replaced the cable and updated the firmware to latest level.

Just format the hard disk man, your problem will be sorted.
I did sim u24 as soon as I realised the machine worked ok with the network cable unplugged, but that didn't cure the fault. The fault was the cable
Thanks again for all your replies

Hi all,
I have got this code with KM-2560 but it was an PDF document doing this. I deleted documents on the computer and that's ok.

Sure ... except I posted this 2 months before 08/2010. My psychic powers just weren't working that day. =^..^=
